Folica is my favorite hair product website. Best prices on hair care products. Love the specials they have on flat irons, etc. The Sedu flat iron totally calmed my wicked friz!

I LOVE HAIR!!!!
Hi, I have thick, curly hair that I currently flat iron. My issue is volume..I have too much.. Has anyone tried a product that reduces volume? Id like to wear it natural but it is hard to control..
Hey Melissa,
Have you ever heard of hair wrapping? Blowdry and flat iron your hair like you normally would. Before bed, you basically wrap the hair flat around your head starting where you part your hair at the front moving to the nape, back up the other side and overlapping the first piece. Use a few bobby pins to secure the hair along the way. Continue doing this until all your hair is pinned. Now, all you do it sleep on it. In the morning, unwrap your hair and you’ll notice it’ll be super flat. Products do wonders also. As a general rule, the heavier the product or the more you use, the more it coats and weighs your hair down. I like to build my products up, using more than one at a time. I would recommend a light leave in conditioner, such as AG fast-food. Then a little bit (or a little more) of a smoothing serum, such as Matrix Biolage Smoothing Serum. I like to throw a little Moroccan Oil in there too. If your hair can handle it, why not? Hope this helps! Good luck!
Help! I’m turning to you because I love HairJunky and trust your judgment. I am the maid-of-honor at my best friend’s wedding in 2 weeks. I have fine hair thats a few inches below my shoulders, but with lots of wavy layers. HOW can I wear my hair for her OUTDOOR wedding in this humidity? My biggest fears are the style not holding up, looking like a frizz ball, or a plain Jane. Rachelle if you could find some options for me, I’d be indebted forever!
