Announcing: Folica’s Reviewer of the Week

Once a week, one random reviewer receives a free flat iron.

That’s all there is to it.

Write a review and it could be you.

This new program is super exciting. I’ll do a contest for it soon. And once we have a few weeks of winners, we’ll make a special spot to congratulate them.

Spread the word! (and if you’ve been dilly dallying, now’s the time to write those reviews!)

This Review Will Make Your Day

Winner! One Contest Closes, Another Opens

Today we conclude the Review Your Favorites contest. The winner, as chosen by our friendly integer generator Random.org is ……..

Brittany! Congratulations! You’re now the proud owner of the very pro Cricket Q-Zone Dryer. Hopefully, it’ll become one of your favorites too.

Honorable mention to Elena for the Retweets and FB posts and thanks all for participating!

If you’re in a winning mood, check out the Alexander McQueen Hair challenge that started today.

Currently Loving: Kerastase Reflection Chroma Riche

Kerastase says: “A luminous, softening, leave-in treatment for dry, highlighted, or color-treated hair. Leaves the hair fiber softer and more supple to the touch.

  • Detangling and styling ease
  • Protects from external aggressions
  • Maximizes colors radiance and shine

Apply 1-2 pumps of Kerastase Reflection Chroma Riche to clean, towel-dried hair. Do not rinse. Style as usual. If needed, use an additional pump on dry hair for increased shine.

HairJunky says: It’s a gem find (and not just because of the color) in my search for products that I can apply to dry, second- or third-day hair that needs rehydrating without heaviness or wetness. I use two small pumps, though one would probably be enough, and apply it to the ends of my hair. It’s very lightweight (maybe like super viscous water …) so I imagine it’d suit any hair texture well. (Not too heavy for fine hair, thicker manes would just get more.) It’s instant shine, sealed ends and softness. The shine makes my color sparkle, which makes me smile, which makes for a happy hair day. :)

P.S. Check out the reviews. It’s 1/5th of a vote away from a flawless record. Love!

Today I used it to tame some flyaways from a raining morning commute and finished with Blow Blow Out Spray (because the bottles match, and because the spray it smells like cotton candy.)

Review of the Day

Happy Monday morning to you all. How was your weekend? Any good hair news for us? Speaking of news, since Folica’s makeover, I now have the pleasure of reading and approving all of the Reviews that we receive. It’s like, The New York Times of hair. Just me, an Americano and hundreds of tips, comments, recommendations and favorites.

And if I’m hair-doing anything, guess who’s also along for the ride?

Yes, you.

Amazing

I love this spray!! It really does what it says. Me and my friends were going to a party and my hair looked terrible. So she showed me this and after that my hair was AMAZING!!!! More people complimented on my hair rather than my new Versace dress!!! It was ssssssssoooooooooo cool!!! Thanks bestie who showed me this product.

HairJunky says: How sweet that her bestie recommended this spray? And then that her hair got more love than her Versace??

And, this is a volumizing product, which is what we’ve been hunting for in our current giveaway {Remake Rosie’s Routine}. Too bad I can’t enter my own contest but any of you are welcome to make this one of your suggestions for her if you like. :)
